Target Owner Workshop

How to progress a target programme post-ELF: Publications, patents and partnering

16 April 2018

WHY

The European Lead Factory wants to see the seeded drug discovery programmes grow and have an impact on patient lives. This workshop gives insights and new ideas how to progress your drug discovery programme. Important topics include programme progress, partnering, patents and publications.

Here, you can meet the ELF scientists involved in propagating the target programmes and learn from the experts who have brought hits to the patients.

Panel discussions provide plenty of opportunity to tap into the knowledge and experience of representatives from industry, legal, investment and funding agencies. The ELF programme office will be present to answer questions on the project framework.

The workshop also provides an opportunity to meet European researchers with innovative approaches to tackle health challenges.

Chairs and panel members:

  • Dr Peter Roevens, Senior Director, Janssen Pharmaceutica
  • Prof Christopher Schofield, Programme Owner ELF & ENABLE, University of Oxford
  • Dr Koen Verhoef, Head of Technology Transfer Office, Netherlands Cancer Institute
  • Dr Daphné Derouane, Senior Patent Counsel, UCB
  • Prof Stan van Boekel, CSO Pivot Park Screening Centre and Professor Medicinal Chemistry, Leiden University
  • Representative from ELF Programme Office
